Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is directly related to the client's goals. A short-term goal would be 10 sessions which includes 5 weeks of live 1 on 1 coaching and exercise programming. When a client purchases a 10 session package of sessions I include with this package 2 complimentary sessions. A mid-term goal would be 20 sessions which includes 10 weeks of live 1 on 1 coaching and exercise programming. I include with this package 3 complimentary sessions. A long-term goal would be 30 sessions which includes 15 weeks of live 1 on 1 coaching and exercise programming. I include with this package 5 complimentary sessions. By giving these comp sessions with these 3 personal training packages I want the client to know and understand that I am committed to getting them and guiding them to their goals efficiently and effectively.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Meet with the possible client and invest time getting to know them and clearly define the client's goals. Then set up a complimentary first exercise session that includes a functional educational movement assessment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Bachelors of Science Degree from Cal State San Bernardino Functional Movement Screen Assessment Trained

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got tired of getting run over on the football field at 16 years old so I started working out in my parent's garage and fell in love with it. In 25 years of working out, I have put on 40lbs of muscle on my body.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with young athletes, middle-aged adults, seniors, and special needs clients.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I'd say the fondest project I've been working on for the last 5 years is the health transformation and complete turnaround I had to do with my own health. It took a seizure to wake me up from the unhealthy lifestyle I was living and since changing my entire nutritional intake and healing my gi tract I have let go of -25lbs and have kept it off.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Ask for referrals. Have a meeting with them to see if they are a good fit for you to partner with in pursuing your health and fitness goals. If they are, ask to have a workout session with them to get a feel for their style. Also, check out their social media and see who and what they are all about.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Am I absolutely committed to the goals I want to achieve for my personal health and fitness? How do I feel about getting coaching? How do I embrace change? and how quickly can I implement new ideas about health and fitness for my life? How sick and tired of being sick and tired of feeling or looking a certain way am I?
