This is achieved through participating in yoga lessons, mindful self study, and gradual lifestyle changes. I want my students to walk away with tools to cope with stress, anxiety, but overall have fun with it, take it easy, and most importantly be patient with themselves. My niche is for those looking for anxiety and stress relief, positive self image, and help with time management. My yoga teachings are in are gentle, hatha, and slow flow vinyasa style as well as one on one sessions. I also am a spiritual self-care coach and work with adolescents and women 16-50 looking to expand their spirituality, increase their intuition, and self-confidence.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I did my 200-hour training through Power Yoga Works specifically in Power Vinyasa yoga. However, I prefer to teach and practice slow flow vinyasa and hatha yoga as I believe it has more emphasis on mindful movement.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started practicing yoga in high school to help my anxiety and depression. I continued practicing but lost touch with it my freshman year of college. Once I took yoga at my college I immediately was hooked again and decided I needed to get my training and become a teacher.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Various genders, ages, but mainly in a group setting. I have also worked one on one teaching meditation.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently subbed a 7:30 am class and anyone that knows me well knows I am not a morning person, so I was really proud of how prepared I was regardless and how I showed up to teach and was completely present, aware, and engaged with my students.

Think about their goals, intentions, and whether those can be done with a specific professional. There are yoga teachers with specific niches such as trauma informed or for cancer patients.
