Q&A

unfold fold
I offer Veterans, First Responder, & Teacher Discounts.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I start with a complimentary call that's usually about 15 minutes to discuss your or your group's goals and the style of yoga you're looking for. Here, I also go over details and answer any questions you might have. We then schedule and conduct our session.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
RYT-200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training NPTI (National Personal Training Institute) Diploma in Personal Training BA in Communication from the University of South Florida

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Yoga & Fitness truly saved my life and served as medicine for me while I was struggling with mental health issues after my time in the U.S. Army. My passion for Yoga & Fitness built momentum and I realized that I enjoyed teaching so why not combine both of my passions.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Mom's looking to decompress from busy schedules Public Speakers in search of new ways to become inspired and active Vacationers looking for a fun and fit way to start their weekend mornings Retired couples looking for ways to boost their wellness. Doctors looking to enhance their wellness routines Friend groups looking for ways to bond while assisting in pain relief

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
All of my classes are 1-hour sessions unless requested by clients. I recently taught an outdoor group class at a public park underneath tree shade on a sunny day. The class was 7 people, and it took about 10 minutes to set up and 10 minutes to break down.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
There are many great teachers out there, find one who calls you and aligns with what you are looking for. If you find a teacher isn't a good fit, don't quit! Just try another teacher.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What am I looking for out of a yoga practice/wellness regimen? Am I willing to commit to showing up and respecting the time the professional puts in before our session?
