Ashley is a licensed therapist trained in trauma-informed yoga/vinyasa. Ashley incorporates elements of psychoeducation, introspection and opportunities for self reflection. What you might experience in a class with Ashley is a vinyasa styled class featuring moments for connection to yourself and others. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Mileage may be added, depending on the location from the teacher. Mats can be added if you don't have any available. Additional add-ons (See below).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

All scheduling will be done initially through Thumbtack. I will get a sense of what type of class you're looking for, location, as well as dates and times. I will connect you with myself or one of our incredible teachers who are designated to your location. You're welcome to request teachers as well, as long as availability is there. If a consult call is needed for more complex events, we would schedule a time for that. This is also a great opportunity to explore any add-ons or themes you'd like us to include in your class. Once we arrive, we will discuss anything you're needing for your practice and tailor the class accordingly.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been practicing yoga for 14 years and teaching for 7 of those. Through my personal practice I found that yoga had the power to transform the ways I see and experience the world in the best possible ways. Upon developing more tools through my teacher training and professionally as a therapist, I began weaving the 2 worlds together. I began working at Denver Health in their psych unit, residential facilities with those who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and teaching consistent classes at various studios around Denver. During COVID, I wanted more ways to allow access to these practices so I began teaching private classes at parks and various locations around town. That soon grew and I found myself teaching classes at fun locations in the mountains and for special events and occasions. I decided to spread the yoga love here in Florida and continue offering these fun classes to all of you! Anyone from CO?

What types of customers have you worked with?

The #1 classes we teach are for bachelorette parties. 2nd most popular would be for coaches and their teams. However, I have taught corporate events, birthday parties, beach yoga, families, anniversaries, chiropractic clinics, couples, apartment complexes and hotels. We do have 1:1 classes, however we mainly focus on larger groups and special events/occasions.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I love the variety of classes and locations that we get a chance to join you for. My favorite part is meeting people from all over and being apart of their special days. Experience/adventure is a huge value for me which is why I feel so connected to the ways we can offer these classes to you.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find someone you align with in similar values and how you want your class to feel. The teacher you decide to go with plays a major role in creating the tone and environment for your class. If you want to get a feel for someone, a phone call can be a great way to do that!
