Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is based on the type and length of the session—private, group, or special celebration. Discounts are available for class packages and multi-session bookings. Retreats and workshops are priced separately, and details are provided in advance. There are no hidden fees, and all pricing is discussed clearly before booking. When appropriate, I may also collaborate with certified wellness professionals to provide a more holistic approach to your well-being.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I begin with a consultation—either by phone or text—to understand the client’s goals, physical condition, and experience level. From there, I customize a practice that suits their needs, whether it’s strength building, flexibility, stress relief, or therapeutic movement. For ongoing clients, I adjust the practice as their goals and abilities evolve.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and certified in Chair Yoga and Aerial Yoga. I’ve attended workshops and seminars led by renowned yoga instructors including Konstantin "Kosta" Miachin, founder of Vikasa Yoga, and Bryan Kest, a pioneer of Power Yoga. My teacher training is grounded in the Baron Baptiste style of Power Yoga. I continue to study and grow through ongoing workshops and personal practice so I can bring the latest knowledge and best energy to my students.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Yoga began as a personal journey to build strength and find balance. Over time, I felt a calling to share its benefits with others. After completing my first teacher training, I began teaching friends and small groups, which soon led to a full teaching practice including private clients, group classes, and retreats.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with a wide range of clients—beginners, seniors, corporate groups, athletes, and those recovering from injuries. I adapt my teaching style to meet each client where they are, whether they’re looking for a challenging flow, gentle movement, or meditative practice. I also work with clients planning special events such as bachelorette parties, anniversaries, birthday celebrations, and wellness-themed gatherings. These sessions are tailored to bring a fun, meaningful, and relaxing experience to the occasion.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One recent favorite was a beautiful outdoor “Wellness Under the Trees” event held on a peaceful weekend morning. It combined a gentle yoga session, a tea workshop, and a soothing sound bowl experience—creating a deeply relaxing and sensory-rich environment. I also recently helped organize a weekend wellness retreat that included yoga, guided meditation, and nutritional workshops in collaboration with certified wellness professionals. The retreat took about three months to plan and spanned three full days of immersive, holistic experiences. Watching participants connect, unwind, and transform over the course of the weekend was incredibly rewarding.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Choose someone who not only has the credentials but also takes the time to understand your goals and limitations. A great yoga teacher will empower you to explore your potential safely, and ideally, can also connect you with other wellness resources when your journey calls for it.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What are your main goals for the session—relaxation, fitness, mindfulness, or celebration? Are you looking for a private session, group class, or a special event like a bachelorette party, birthday, or retreat? What time of day are you planning your event? How many people do you foresee attending? Would you like to enhance the experience with elements like sound bowls, aromatherapy, or a detox shot or tea or wellness workshop? Do you prefer the event to take place indoors or outdoors? Are there any physical limitations or special needs among participants that should be considered? What kind of energy or mood do you want to create—energizing, restorative, fun, or deeply meditative? Taking a few moments to reflect on these questions can help ensure your session is tailored exactly to your vision and needs.
