Introduction

I describe my style of yoga as Slow Yoga for Everyone. Depending on what you need, this can be experienced as gentle and accessible yoga, or this could be spending slightly more time than you'd like to in plank. Whether you're interested in Slow Flow, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Meditation, Prenatal Yoga, Yoga for Perimenopause or Postmenopause, Chair Yoga, or a combination of a few of these styles, I work with you to create private yoga sessions for your unique body and needs. I am as interested in stability as I am in mobility. We begin with a complimentary 30-minute session via Zoom where we talk about what you are looking for, what I offer, and whether we are a match for each other. Then we agree on dates and times. Private sessions are offered with tiered pricing: $100-150 per hour, and packages of five or more lessons are offered at a 10% discount.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Private sessions are offered with tiered pricing: $100-150 per hour, and packages of five or more lessons are offered at a 10% discount.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We begin with a complimentary 30-minute session via Zoom where we talk about what you are looking for, what I offer, and whether we are a match for each other. Then we agree on dates and times.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have benefitted from practicing a variety of yoga styles in different moments of my life. For many years my practice has been grounded in Iyengar Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, and meditation. I am thankful for the wisdom and adaptability of these particular practices now as I navigate the ever-changing terrain of perimenopause. I completed both my foundational and advanced trainings with Boston Yoga School. My knowledge of and love for Restorative Yoga is guided by the teachings of Judith Hanson Lasater (I am an advanced Relax and Renew® instructor), Roger Cole, Tricia Hersey, and Dr. Gail Parker. I completed a second 200-hour training specific to Yin Yoga. I have studied and practiced both prenatal yoga (I am an RPYT) and yoga for the stages of menopause.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Fun fact about me: the first yoga practice I ever facilitated was for a group of preschoolers ... and the practice was conducted in Italian.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I truly believe yoga is for everyone. I have worked with preschoolers, people in assisted living communities, pregnant practitioners, people experiencing injuries, and folks in the menopause transition.
