Introduction

mindfulness activist | yoga teacher | author | meditation guide | journaling <> Yoga saved me twice. The first time was in 1996 after I was dropped out of a 4-story window of an apartment in the suburbs of Paris, France. The second time was in 2021 following the death of my WWII Veteran father. Since then, it's been my calling to share mindfulness and wellness tools with others. I share them with souls who seek balance, mobility, relief from anxiety and stress, mild depression, and self-care. 1 on 1 & curated <<💯% online>> REMOTE Teams <<💯% online>> GROUP Practices <<💯% online>> WORKSHOPS <<💯% online>> Yoga with Your Girls ladies' night bridal shower baby shower birthday party promotion party It's for any event where being together is the reason to 🥳 celebrate. New clients are offered 10% off packages. 🙏🏽

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First, we'll talk during a 30-minute video call. After we determine your goals and if we're a good fit, I'll create your Yoga and mindfulness plan and we'll start the transformative journey together. 🙏🏽

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a Certified Yoga Teacher, registered with the Yoga Alliance, having completed 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training. Additionally, I have earned over 300 additional hours of Yoga Teacher Training certifications including Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, Yoga for Grief, and Adaptive Yoga. 🙏🏽

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I discovered Yoga in 1996 after being dropped out of a 4-story window in the suburbs of Paris, France. I returned with a passion in 2021 following the passing of my WWII Veteran father. Both times, Yoga provided a space for me to process feelings, emotions, and trauma, practice mindfulness, move my body with intention, and heal. It is my honor to share these practices with others as tools to carry with them as they navigate the complexities of this beautiful life. 🙏🏽

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I enjoy working with Yoga practitioners of all levels from beginner to advanced. Women Over 50 are my specialty. 🙏🏽

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Last June, I participated in St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital's 30 Days of 30 Minutes of Yoga. In addition to participating in a daily Yoga practice of at least 30 minutes, I offered 4 free classes for the community. It was one class a week, each with a different style of Yoga. It provided an opportunity for a shared experience within a shared experience and made reaching the fundraising goal even more special. 🙏🏽

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Working 1:1 with a Yoga Teacher is a wonderful opportunity to practice self-care, raise your mindfulness game, and manage stress. Not to mention increase balance and flexibility, strength, and resilience. It's important that you talk with your potential teacher to clearly state your goals and agree upon a plan you can commit to. And then listen to their response, their plan, and their desire to truly help you along your journey. 🙏🏽

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1. Think about how much time you have to commit to your practice. Consistency is key, so be sure you put your support in place to ensure the time you commit to yourself will be free. 2. Think about what space you have for your practice. You don't need a huge space, but you want to ensure you have privacy, won't be disturbed, and feel comfortable, and safe. 3. Think about what props you will need to feel supported during your practice. You'll need a Yoga mat, rug or towel, blocks or books, a strap or belt, and pillows, cushions, and blankets. You probably have all these things at home but do ask what you will need. 🙏🏽
