Introduction

Hi there. I would love to share my knowledge/experience 20 years +) of yoga with you in a safe, private and non-competitive way. Learn in your own home, go at YOUR own pace! I teach all ages, but most of my clientele are baby boomers and seniors who want to stay active and feel good in their bodies! Feel free to contact me with any questions or to set up a session. I would say my business stands out because I have had amazing training in New York City and was taught proper alignment principles, (something missing here in many MN trainings I noticed), and traditional yoga. I teach several classes in the twin cities, but enjoy teaching people one-on-one, the way it has been passed down for centuries. I love to see people transform, even in the most simple ways. People's faces change. I see joy and freedom. I get hugs after I teach. Big smiles, and thank you's. I get to enjoy the day in between my classes. I meet lots of great people. I could go on!!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Included in my price is my 19+ years of training, teaching and knowledge. You get what you pay for.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to talk to people on the phone usually before our session and find out a brief medical history, or check in to see if they have limitations, what their past experience of yoga is, and if they have any goals, or prime reason they are about to begin their yoga journey. For the folks who are more experienced, they just may not have time to go to a class, or they may want improvement of their postures.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
200 hour Yoga Certificate, plus several small workshops and trainings with top notch teachers in NYC and California, 1 Year Advanced Yoga Therapy Training.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Someone in my family was/is a yoga teacher and I was influenced by her, but I really got into yoga when I realized how good it made me feel, not just physically, but emotionally, mentally. I went through a rough period in my life and yoga was my saving grace. I want to share that with others.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have taught all types, shapes, sizes and ages. I currently teach large classes in health clubs, as well as a small private group of seniors- ie: people in their 70's and 80's; privately to a woman with MS, arthritis, Parkinsons, etc. I am comfortable teaching everyone who is open and interested!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
