Introduction

My focus is inclusion and accessibility. I offer affordable sessions that range from beginner to advanced sequences to meet the students where they are in their practice. Sessions can be centered around a physical practice or a more mentally calming class depending on the students needs!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I offer pricing lower than the average market price because I think yoga is something that should be accessible and affordable for everyone. I wouldn’t want to deter someone from starting their practice or depending their practice just because it isn’t feasible for them financially.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to get a feel for where my new clients are at in their practice. I ask their experience level, what they want out of the session or what their long term goals might be, and if there are any physical areas of concern or where they might want extra attention. From there, I’ll give them a rough idea of where I’d like to take the class and see if they like it too. I’m always willing to adapt and adjust for the client. It’s not about me, it’s about them!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a RYT-200 through My Vinyasa Practice. I am now working towards my RYT-500 through their training to deepen my practice and qualifications.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started practicing yoga in middle school! At that time I just thought it was something fun and gentle to do after working out. It was mostly about the physical practice for me. Down the line, I decided I wanted to teach and got my certification. That’s when I learned all the philosophical, mental and spiritual layers of the practice. It changed my life completely and made me fall in love with the practice even more. Now I focus on trying to easily translate the philosophies of yoga “off the mat” to my students when we’re on the mat

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with people ages 20-55 offering a range of class levels dependent on the clients ability. I am most experienced in working one on one or with just a few people. I’ve always worked virtually providing more demoing in those classes.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I think finding a good yoga instructor is like finding a good hair stylist for you. Just because a hair stylist may not do your hair to your liking, doesn’t mean they are a bad stylist. They just didn’t style you the way you like. I think the same goes for (trained) yoga instructors. Though we may all be adequate, you need to find an instructor who resonates with you, your style, and what you want out of the practice!
