Introduction

I am not working just to get to the end of any one case but to win a client's loyalty for all time and for all legal purposes. I am far more interested in establishing our credibility as the place where anyone can go to for honest and ethical advice that will be in their best interest than in securing any one fee or case. If a potential client doesn't really need to hire an attorney or if we are not the right attorneys or resource for them, we will still make sure they get their questions answered and are directed to the right places and persons. We are always the right and the best place for someone in need of any legal help to go and our consultations are always free. It has been the most rewarding experience of my life to help so many people in so many ways. In essence, people come to us with problems that are overwhelming to them and which threaten to destroy their lives. These problems come in many, many forms. We are experts at guiding them through their crisis, whether it is a family law case, an accident or disability, or an employment issue and getting them the best possible outcome for their situation. We have successfully resolved nearly every case we've ever had and truly saved and changed many people's lives for the better. It is truly the thanks and gratitude of my clients that is the most rewarding thing about my job.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Consultations are always free. I do not believe there is any other attorney in town who can provide the quality of services we do at the prices we do. We rely on this reputation for almost all of our business.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Lots and lots of it. The learning curve is never ending. We have attorneys who dedicate themselves to their chosen subjects with one entirely devoted to employment issues, another entirely devoted to criminal law, and others devoted to family law, special education, workers compensation and other areas. No one can be a master of all fields so it is important to have an attorney who specializes in what you need.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My father, brother and wife are also attorneys as were some of my child-hood heroes. I wanted to fight bad guys and be a civil rights attorney and that is the roots of my business and still what I love to do. Over the years, we expanded into a full service law firm that aims to be the single and best legal provider in the Inland Empire with a reputation second to none.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have a proven track record that is second to none. In criminal law, I believe our firm has won the release of more lifers than any other firm in California through various Writs and Appeals. We have never lost a special education case and I can count on one hand (two fingers actually) the amount of custody cases I've lost. We have a near perfect winning record in our personal injury and workers compensation cases and also help hundreds of employees every year who have not received their proper wages or been discriminated against. We do everything from small jobs including bankruptcies and social security appeals to mass class actions and catastrophic injury cases.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
There are so many that it is difficult to single out a single case. We have recently successfully settled a wrongful death case against LA Sheriff's for an unjustifiable shooting; we have recently settled a multi-million dollar product liability case against a major car manufacturer; we have recently won at trial (on a no-offer case) for a first grader who was sexually assaulted by other students as a result of the on-going failure of the school to do anything to stop the bullying that was getting way out of hand; we have successfully just won the dismissal of charges against one of our criminal clients.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Dig deep. Anyone can say anything on the internet but are there facts to back it up. The biggest wild-card in any case I get is who will be on the other side. Just by knowing which attorney is on the other side of a case, I know much about how the case will go down. There are so many bad attorneys out there and so many who will not look out for your best interest that you must use great care in selecting an attorney.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I understand why people don't trust attorneys. I know most every attorney in town and have worked with most all of them. Sadly, I find about half of them incompetent and even more sadly, I find a similarly large share of them to be ethically compromised in their dealings with their clients. My father was born in the same small town that my children will do business in after I'm gone. I was left and benefit from the good community reputation my father and grandfather established and in a small town, reputation is everything. The core principals of my law firm has always been that we are Smart and Honest attorneys in a market where there are not so many who have those traits.
