Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer a range of services, and we pride ourselves on balancing the needs and complexities of the case with the client’s budget. As such, we offer payment plans on certain cases to afford clients the opportunity to retain legal representation without breaking the bank.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First, I want to hear their story. Not just the facts of their case, but who they are, what they do, what their goals are. I approach my representation holistically, and that means sometimes having to addressing underlying issues of a client’s case so they (hopefully) never have to retain me again.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I graduated from Duquesne University School of Law with my JD, and I am a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My mother has been an attorney all my life, despite the pressure to follow in that career, I wanted to pursue teaching in academia instead. However, I felt called to be an attorney - most importantly because I feel called to serve and to help people in need.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
There are “intangibles” when retaining an attorney. Beyond the years in the profession, look to whether the attorney actually listens to your story.
