What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We hold your hand through the transition. Our goal is to make everything effortless on your part. We will handle A-Z for our clients. The first step is to meet you at the property and help you develop the best strategy for maximizing your rental income. It is free of charge to obtain rental estimates and request a proposal from us.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We are a licensed brokerage firm by CA Department of Real Estate, member of NARPM (National Association of Residential Property Managers), and Certified Apartment Manager® by NAA (National Apartment Assocation). Our staff went through extensive training and regularly attend seminars to keep up to date with current law and best practices.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Earnest Homes started in 2015.

We have served first-time landlords, public figures, investors, and foreign investors.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We helped a landlord who was charging tenants $600 in rent for the past 30 years. Once we received the property, we coordinated a renovation project worth $130k and now collect $3,700 in rental income. She is our client for life!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

1. When hiring a property manager in CA, you need to make sure that they are licensed by the DRE (Department of Real Estate). 2. All of the fees should also be disclosed upfront. 3. How hands on are they? Many management companies refuse to take on big projects like mold, renovation, lawsuits, or even meeting owners and vendor at the property!
