What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Below are the typical steps we take with prospective clients. However we are happy to set up additional touchpoints or in-person meetings to ensure you're comfortable partnering with us. 1.) Intro Call: 30 minutes Discuss the property and goals for your investment Overview of our property management services 2.) Contracts: Email We send our Mascot Property Management Agreement & Colorado Real Estate Commission Exclusive Right to Rent Contract for your review 3.) Contracts Review Call: 15-30 minutes, Optional Discuss any questions you have regarding the contracts 4.) Property Walkthrough: 30-60 minutes, In-Person Walkthrough the property and complete Pre-Onboarding Inspection via RentCheck (Report shared with owner regardless of whether we’re hired) Property Owner attendance is optional 5.) Contract Execution & Outline of Property Plan: Email

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Mascot Property Management’s journey began in 2013 with our first short-term rental property in Boston, where we learned the ins and outs of optimizing property performance among the area’s dense college student population. In 2015 we returned to Kyle’s home state of Colorado and now reside just minutes from his childhood home. While we initially continued short-term rentals in Denver, we soon evolved into long-term property management for multiple friend and family-owned homes in Fort Collins and Denver. Through this experience we’ve honed a reputation for maximizing returns, proactively addressing maintenance, and providing exceptional owner and tenant communication. Our history of managing properties for Colorado State University student tenants in Fort Collins, and young professionals in Denver, has taught us the best tools and techniques suited to the unique characteristics of these markets. We’re thrilled to continue addressing the property management needs of homeowners in Northern Colorado and look forward to serving our neighbors and community.

Every property manager has a unique approach. Take the time to get to know who you're working with and set expectations on both sides for what a successful partnership will look like. Communication is key!
