How did you get started doing this type of work?

We started our work in dealing with our sister company, PearsonRealtyGroup.com 's buyers and sellers and hearing about their negative experiences. We understand what drives value in property.

We work with your everyday first time investment owners to corporate clients such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, PNC, 5th/3rd Bank, and even the United States of America (HUD) as our clients.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One owner recently approached our office wanting to complete a 1031 exchange he is in the process of selling vacation property in another state. We helped him find a multi-unit building which we rehabbed, rented, managed and eventually sold for an extreme premium over what he originally purchased the property for in 2011.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask your property manager if they charge additional fees for hiring or “managing” any maintenance on top of what the contractor is charging.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Does the manager charge for time managing repair projects or "mark up" any of the maintenance expenses that the property encurrs? (Our answer is "N.O.!)
