Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our fees are transparent, and straight forward, no hidden surprises.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I have a conversation either in person, web call, or phone to discuss what they are looking for and see if we are a good fit for their needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a Bachelors degree in Business, and hold an active real estate license. I also have a real estate brokerage, and have years of personal experience in real estate.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started years back personally buying properties, and renting them out. I also remodeled my rental homes, and sold them as well. This gave me a good perspective on how the different areas of real estate worked. I have always enjoyed real estate, and decided to dedicate myself full time to property management.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with a variety of clients, from the individual who inherited a home and needed help managing it, to working with investors who have 20+ properties. Most of my clients have 1-3 properties though.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Really take the time to talk to the management company, and make sure they are listening to what you need. If they don’t ask you what your goals, and expectations for your property are you need to pause and ask yourself do they really want to partner with me, or just manage another property? I here from owners about so many companies just throw out a price, and worry about the details later. It ends up not being a good fit, and clients are disappointed.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
When it comes to property management questions to ask I would ask how-does the fee structure work, how do you communicate with tenants and the owner. How are maintenance issues handled, and do you outsource or do you have a team internally.
