Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer competitive pricing, in keeping with the market in the area, while simultaneously doing excellent management work specifically targeting Detroit residents and the specific talent that it takes to satisfy both the owner and any and all tenants.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
1. First we like to get a good understanding of what the client needs are as we ll as their goals. This allows our team to hone in on those areas first. 2. Next we make sure our clients understand what we bring to the table in terms of managing their properties. We want our clients to know that we stand out from the competition in key areas such as: Response time to inquiries from customers, cost of maintenance and frequency of maintenance orders, ability to collect rents from difficult tenants. 3. Lastly we assure our customers that we are working around the clock on their behalf. Our client's success is our success. 4. 5.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our team consists of a team with over 20 years of Property Management experience. Property maintenance and home improvement was the family business for over 70 years. Our staff is composed of native Detroiter's who understand the City and its people very well. This gives us a keen insight into managing properties in this unique environment.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have always had a passion for improving homes and helping people. This line of work was a great way to express both.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with and are currently helping clients of all types. We manage commercial properties, residential, mixed use, and until recently we managed an industrial property. Our clients are local, out of state and international.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I am really fond of the work we completed for a client in West Village in Detroit. The renovation took 3 months however it turned out great and the client was able to quickly see a return on his investment.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The best advice is hire someone with direct access to your property and who understands the tenants they place in your property. Many management companies are big on bells and whistles when it comes to selling their service but are really hands off when it comes to dealing with properties in the inner city. This is why things fall behind and there is a high attrition rate with big management companies, they have a revolving door of clients because quite often they cannot deliver on what they promise.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1. What can I reasonably expect in terms of cost and time? Investors should stay in the realm of reality when setting goals. There is plenty of opportunity in the real world.
