How did you get started doing this type of work?

Grant & Main was founded out of a passion for creating stability and value in residential real estate. Our founders were investors themselves, frustrated by inconsistent management companies and poor service. We started this company to raise the standard of property management—by providing reliable, responsive, and results-driven solutions for owners just like us.

We’ve worked with a wide range of residential real estate investors, from first-time landlords with a single-family home to institutional investors managing portfolios of hundreds of units. We specialize in both single-family and multi-family properties, as well as HOAs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

In May 2020, a developer partnered with Grant & Main to build a high-end modular home in the heart of Detroit. From vacant lot to completion, the project took under 12 months and featured custom finishes, smart home technology, and sustainable design. The home was sold in March 2021, representing a successful return on investment and a significant contribution to urban revitalization in Detroit. It remains one of our favorite examples of vision, quality, and impact.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
