Our founder started as an onsite manager working through college and fell in love with the property management and investment business.

We happily manage for young home owners that have purchased a second home, giant multi-unit complex owners, and everything in between. We even manage commercial properties too.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently took over management of a 100+ unit complex, moved quickly to get rid of bad tenants, filled the vacant units, helped owners navigate a complete upgrade of the HVAC, and turned the property into a predictable, high-cashflow investment in a matter of months.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your research and make sure you understand what extra fees will be charged. Management fees can look low, but often come with a nickel-and- dime approach to compensation. We have found that the best way to predictable cashflow for our clients is a flat management percentage with little-to-no extra fees. At Joseph Thomas Real Estate, we charge 10% of rents we actually collect for you, so we only get paid when you get paid.
