We are built in Oakland, serving the community of Oakland. Our company strategy is based on "empirical geographic needs". We limit our service area to roughly a 10-mile radius around our office, because we want to ensure our team is out there serving the community rather than spending time getting to our projects. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is variable and we offer fully transparent pricing, since we have an in-house design and engineering team we can offer comprehensive or "a la carte" options for all of our clientele.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We usually always start with a phone consultation to ensure each party has an understanding of the requested project just to verify it is a fit for both parties. After the consultation we move to on-site meeting, then the official proposal, and then design & and engineering (if applicable). Once the proposal is accepted, we move to permitting and planning, then construction, project management, QC, and lastly passing all inspections if applicable at the closure of the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have a CPM, Class B General License, P.E's and over 30 years of experience within the organization.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

After managing properties, we realized there was a gap in communication and actual workmanship in the construction field. We felt like we could make the experience and communication in all aspects better for our clientele.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Investors, bankers, sole proprietors, property managers, other contractors, governmental agencies, and individual homeowners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One project that we did was on the commercial side of the business, we assisted a Fortune 500 company in expanding their HQ by almost 50k sq ft brand new building consisting of a mix of retail, office, and residential space. The project spanned almost 2 full years but yielded admiration from all the executives as well as the employees themselves.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Whether it be exploratory or finalized plans one has, we advise all clients to have an open mind, often times, construction, it materials, and its timelines can vary, they may not all align, so it is important to have many options on hand as well as understanding the associated costs as that too can fluctuate.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

They should think about the budget, finishes, materials, type of construction, its purpose, the quality the want, timelines, planning, and what they look for in a construction partner, which is what we offer through the clients project and beyond.
