How did you get started doing this type of work?
I come from a family with a rich legacy in construction and building, which inspired my passion for the industry from a young age. Growing up, I was immersed in the world of design and renovation, learning the ins and outs of the trade from my family.
What types of customers have you worked with?
At Polaris Home Design, we have had the privilege of working with a diverse array of clients. Our portfolio includes high-profile individuals such as news anchors, designers from Disney, and prominent lawyers, as well as everyday homeowners seeking to enhance their living spaces.
This broad spectrum of clientele reflects our adaptability and commitment to delivering exceptional service tailored to each unique vision, ensuring that we meet the needs of both luxury and everyday projects alike.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of our standout projects was a full design-build renovation of a luxury condo in Century City. With a generous budget, we were able to incorporate superior finishes throughout the space, elevating both the aesthetics and functionality of the home.
The project took about five months to complete, during which we worked closely with the client to bring their vision to life. Their satisfaction was evident, as they loved the results so much that they hired us to renovate their other unit as well. This project not only showcased our commitment to excellence but also reinforced our ability to deliver exceptional transformations tailored to our clients' needs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Verify Credentials: Make sure they are licensed and insured. If they’re not, you’re opening yourself up to serious risks. Protect yourself.
Demand References: Ask for past clients and actually reach out to them. Don’t just take their word for it. Get the real scoop on their experience.
Trust Your Gut: If something feels off—whether it’s their communication style or a pushy sales approach—don’t ignore it. It’s often a sign that they’re not the right fit.
