Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We dont believe in underbidding to get jobs to later on increase prices and hit you with endless change orders. We offer a transparent and real pricing upfront so the client knows very clearly what their budget should be to achieve their goals

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We begin with an in person consultation which is free of charge. The next step is to develop a pre construction plan and move into the blue print and planning stage. There is a fee for the blueprint and planning stage which varies depending on the scope of work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We have all graduated from reputable Universities and try to bring a level of professionalism and technical know how that is above and beyond the standard minimal trade education. We have over 30 years of combined experience in the construction and design industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Our family has been in the design and home construction industry for over 30 years. We have a well known design and build showroom in Los Angeles and we fell in love with the San Jose area and have enjoyed working with home owners in the Bay Area for many years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Most of our clients are homeowners that are very busy professionals working in the Tech industry. We understand the stress and time constraints posed to these clients and we digitize and make all steps of the process very easy and understandable so that the entire construction process is more manageable and clear to them.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We just finished a 2 bathroom and kitchen full remodel. The time it takes to complete a job is dependent on 2 key factors: 1.). The City Permit processing time which can range between 30 days to several months. 2.). The decision process of the homeowner for design and finish material selection. But we help streamline both of these areas and make it easy for the homeowner.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Interview your builder. Make sure your personalities are compatible because you will be spending a lot of time together. Go see their past work. Photos are easy to put on a website and everyone has nice photos. Go visit past clients see the work they completed and ask the homeowner how the builder performed.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Make a list of priorities. Everyone wants a brand new fully updated house with all the bells and whistles but there is always a budgetary reality. Start with the most important pieces and then go down the list of less important items. A good builder can help you understand budgets and priorities to assist you in deciding on the best scope of work. At the end of the day you want to be happy with your end product.
