Customer service is the backbone of our company, quality is a must, We will keep your home cleaner, we will keep you more informed, and up to date with the schedule of your project, than any of our competition. Usher Building & Design is a company you can trust, communication and honesty is key, this is how we stand out. You deserve to enjoy your building experience. The best part of my job as Usher Building & Design, is working with people, creating contacts and relationships. Being given the opportunity to show people the quality workmanship we do, and then looking back at a job well done, knowing that one more client has my back, because we gave our best, and it shows. And the reason I can give my best is because, I love what I do, I love to build, to create, to design.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Every job is very different, and we evaluate the needs of each client and job. Our pricing is fair, you get what you pay for. We are typically more expensive, but we offer more, we take care of your home, and your project better than anyone out there. Our quality is higher, then our competitors.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
1st. meeting. talk about the job, wants & needs. ideas & vision. 2nd. I will then often give you on the spot rough pricing, and ask you if that's what you expected. 3rd I will work up a proposal, the proposed work and cost. We will meet a second time, to discuss it. At this point you can either decide to hire us, or decide to think on the Proposal we gave you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
4 years apprenticeship 4 years journeyman Licensed General contractor in Colorado Licensed General contractor in California 19 total years of experience 14 years in business

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with people in their twenties and people in their eighties, all classes, and types of personalities. You have to become what the customer needs, without compromising your own brand.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Every job is unique, we are excited for every new challenge. My team and I really enjoy transforming our clients home, and giving them high quality and informed work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
1. Ask questions to test the knowledge of your contractor, this will prove if he or she actually knows what they are doing. 2. Get three bids, the middle price is probably what the job is worth and going to cost. 3. Do your home work, figure out the cost of your project before spending contractors time, many online resources will help you come close to your actual cost.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Try to figure out the cost of the job before hand, evaluate your commitment to that cost. Dial in your wants, and dislikes, don't fully rely on the contractor for trends or ideas. What is it that you want, that you like. envision your project, and be able to relay that to the contractor.
