What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to meet and discuss what they are actually wanting to accomplish, what is their budget and provide realistic timelines for completion of work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

College and over 25 years of on the job training.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I come from a long line of builders.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I’ve worked with everyone from college students to doctors and lawyers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I’m fond of every project and give all of my projects 100 percent. Projects can take as little as a couple hours to several weeks to complete depending upon the complexity and size.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always make sure they have the proper up to date licenses and insurances. Never give 100 percent of the money for the job up front. Always make sure you have a contract.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Realistically, how much is this going to cost? How will this impact my normal daily activities? What colors, type of material, size of the project do I really want?
