Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
For emergency water damage we have affordable flat rates that will cover the emergency call, cleanup and drying equipment. The final price will vary depending on the situation and size of the affected area/s. These flat rates allow homeowners to begin mitigation as soon as possible, while insurance coverage takes place. Once the insurance claim is in place, we will bill insurance directly for the cleanup and move on to phase two which is reconstruction. For repairs, abatement and reconstruction that are related to an insurance claim, we will estimate the loss based on insurance company guidelines and submit to insurance for approval, prior to commence the repairs. All non insurance related repairs will require estimate for the client to approve.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Starts with a phone call, to gather all the necessary information about the damage, determine if emergency services are needed or set up an appointment to inspect and write an estimate.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We are certified since 2004 individually and as a firm by the IICRC institute of inspection cleaning and restoration certification.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My Father introduced me to the disaster restoration industry over 22 years ago and held every position available within the companies I worked for, from entry level technician to general manager. Simultaneously during my years as an employee I started a small Remodeling company in 2007 that grew over the years, later transitioning into disaster damage restoration since 2015.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with many different types of clients, from small one bedroom condos, to multi million dollar mansions. from one office room to multi level commercial losses. We have enough equipment, vehicles and man power to tackle just about any loss size.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently finished a job in Cambridge, a condo that suffered a massive roof leak due to a fallen tree, the client wanted the work to be completed in five days, the challenge was to move all the furniture out of the rooms and store it within the unit, which was very small. then demo the damaged ceilings and walls, then replace it, paint it, install trim, floors , move everything back and then clean everything ! they were having a birthday party on Saturday, we started on Monday, we were able to finish everything by Friday at 4:30PM, the place looked marvelous, better than before, they were thrilled ! now we are working on another job they referred us. Really proud of it !

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Always check reviews, ask for references, make sure they are trained and certified and better yet, shop local, stay away from the franchises.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
More than questions, I believe that setting and understanding client expectations as well as contractor expectations is the key to a successful business relationship. As long as both understand each other and have a rod map to completion, everything will end well.
