Introduction

As a General Contracting Firm, we are capable of taking on any residential and commercial projects. We are professional contractors and project managers. We are a family-owned and operated company, and our team of professionals has been with us for many years. Most of them are long-time friends from church or family members that are in the field. We've done projects like Custom Homes, Multi-Unit Condos, a Seven-Unit Brown Stone Gut Reno, Kitchen Remodels in the $100k to $150k range, Bathroom Remodels from $20k - $80k and above, and even Basement & Attic Conversions between $30k to $120k, along with many other projects like New Custom Homes or Condo Conversions running $1M+. With all this experience we are qualified and ready to handle your project of any size - and we look forward to showing you what excellent craftsmanship and client satisfaction looks like.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I believe what customers like the most is the fact that I quote the entire project so that it’s turnkey (with materials and potential surprises accounted for). That way once we start the project the cost has a better chance of decreasing if we don’t need to do one thing or the other. I also show my clients various types of materials to choose from so they have the chance of decreasing the material allowances as well - during the purchase of said materials I also apply contractor discount if I can to decrease costs even more. We’ve been able to get up to 65% off on bathroom fixtures and even 35% off on cabinets as well as other discounts.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typical process is tough to explain. I have to adapt constantly to benefit my clients. Some are more decisive than others, some want to be more a part of the project than others, and some have more of a flexible budget than others. So the process can’t be cookie cutter rather personalized to benefit my client.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Most of my experience has been from mentorship and self-teaching. My father passed down a lot of good skills, but most of what I’ve learned has been from personal experience. I did take my GC License Exam, I took OSHA 10 & 30 safety courses, and the rest I learned through personal experience in a small bathroom remodel to luxury condo building.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
When I was 16 my father signed me up to take the GC License course. The company called me and told me I was too young, I actually had no idea what they were talking about. Two years later I decided to take the course to get my license and it turns out the company owners knew me because I went to school with their daughters. After getting my license my father handed me the company and now I run it with him.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All types; the ones with deep pockets and the ones with a limited budget. The ones who knew exactly what they wanted, and the ones who had no idea. Even ones who didn’t live in the states.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent project I’m fond of was a 9 unit luxury condo build. I was the lead in framing and structural work for the project. It took about 2 months or so. I love seeing the building rise up week by week, it was just satisfying.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Always make sure you’re dealing with not just a licensed and insured professional but also an experienced one. In our line of work there are always people who want to “play” contractor because they want to make some money. These are the contractors who severely underbid jobs and then later on rack up the change orders (if you’re lucky). If you’re not they’ll abandon your project then you’ll need to pay even more to fix everything he did wrong. A licensed and experienced professional will not only quote you properly, but they’ll also explain and show you what to expect with the project as well as manage the project properly so it doesn’t take longer than it should.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Is the contractor licensed and insured? What’s my budget? What style of remodel do I want (low end, mid grade, high end)? What materials do I want? What’s the professional’s availability to start?
