What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We start with a free design consult to understand your goals, then guide you from concept through sourcing, permits, and construction. We keep communication clear and timelines on track.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our lead designer has a master’s in architecture and interior design, with 15+ years of experience on high-end homes in Europe and the U.S. Our lead carpenter brings 40 years of expert craftsmanship to stairs, kitchens, and finishes.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started by renovating my own homes and fell in love with turning old spaces into beautiful, functional ones. That passion turned into Built Works—a design-build team focused on quality, creativity, and integrity.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Homeowners, investors, and busy professionals who want high-quality results and a stress-free process. Many of our clients care deeply about good design and long-term value.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A two-family new construction in East Boston—gut-renovated from the ground up with custom kitchens and energy-efficient systems. It took about 10 months and is a true showcase of our work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire a team that listens well, communicates clearly, and delivers both great design and strong execution. The process matters as much as the final result.
