Introduction

With over twenty years of experience I have worked with many different styles and budgets. I understand that no two clients or homes are the same and so I take the time to get to know my clients and understand their “vision” before I start a project. I treat every project, from just color selection and coordination to full home renovations, with the same expertise and enthusiasm. I believe that your home is the only place on earth that you can be 100% “you”. I always want my clients to come home to a house that welcomes them and that they love to be in. AVAILABLE FOR WEEKEND APPOINTMENTS (I always wear a mask) **CONSULTATION CHARGE OF $190.00 (two hours). IF HIRED $190.00 WILL BE CREDITED TOWARDS FUTURE HOURS.**

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I have a two hour minimum for consultations, which can then be applied towards hours if the project will be ongoing. I also work on a flat fee, depending on the project. I accept cash or check only.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I meet with the client, view the spaces and talk with them about how they want their space to "feel" and function. After that I form a "plan of action" and go from there. My job is to present two or three options for each need and to show how they would work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Always looking at new products and new ideas. I spent many years on high end showroom floors before starting my own business.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
It has been as natural as breathing for as long as I can remember.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have, and still do, worked with all age groups, all budgets, all styles. I enjoy working with young couples who are ready for a “grown up” look. I also enjoy “empty nesters” who are either downsizing or taking back their space.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I did a complete small two bedroom condo that had not been touched since the 80's. The client wanted "classy" but comfortable. I took him way out of his comfort zone and gave him a space that he was thrilled with. And that makes him smile every time he walks through the door.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look at their work, if it all looks pretty much the same in terms of colors and style, think twice. Most important, if the designer does not ask a lot of questions about your lifestyle and taste, worry.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What they really want, how they want their space to feel as well as look. Realistically what are they willing to spend on labor, furnishings and designer time.
