Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I work for a flat rate virtually with my digital packages so that there are no surprises for you. The pricing is on my website. For in-person design, flat-rate rooms are priced per square footage, so every room is different. For additional design work and renovation quality control and project management, I have a retainer for $85 per hour with a deposit of $1000 to start.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My typical process is to set up a free consultation, to go over the project and the scope of work. This can be done in person in the areas designated, or virtually. Once we have developed a scope of work and fostered a comfort level with the project budget, I will then take the initial idea into the detailed design phase. My goal is to have a final fixed-price cost, drawings ready for construction, and the majority of your selections made so you can be ready to start building. Once this is done, I will be there to assist in making the construction process simple. I take care of the complicated questions from your contractor so you can keep focused on getting ready to enjoy your new spaces.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have 2 degrees in the arts, with an Associate in Graphic Communications, and a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design. I have worked professionally for companies utilizing furniture and space planning, renovation, and kitchen and bath.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Purchasing my first home, I realized I had an interest and a knack for interior design. This inspired me to seek further education and pursue a degree in the field.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types, and all styles!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
