Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We will always work with the customer at the beginning to understand how the price of a job is produced and how we can work with the customer to reach the place that makes them comfortable with the amount they are paying.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
This is mostly a job-centric process but the first thing we do is work to understand what the customer wishes to get out of the project and what they see as the perfect job. We then work to understand how much they are seeking to put into the work in terms of a budget and together we as a team determine how the process can move forward.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
As an owner I have a background in engineering and architecture as well as many years of on-site work developing projects from large commercial construction to small project work for any size job.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have always been involved with working around construction of things since I was little. Having grown up in rural NJ it was only natural that you learn how to build things.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with every different range of customer from the smallest of jobs to large commercial work.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One of the most recent jobs that we have done is a total kitchen renovation and why I am fond of the job was that the customer was limited on space, budget and ideas and with our team we delivered a product that they were ecstatic over. This is why we do what we do.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Good things aren't cheap and cheap things aren't good. That being said, research your project, know what things cost and then work to find a contractor that will invest that time in you as the customer to give you exactly what you are looking for.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The better informed you are the better prepared you are. I believe that a good customer for us knows what they want, how much they think they can spend and what time frames they are working with. If the customer is properly informed then our job of meeting those expectations can be more easily managed.
