What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

JAS Park pricing is very competitive. You receive quality work for a reasonable price. With the constant increase in material cost, we try to make our estimate as realistic as possible. We also offer financing to our customers.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We always meet our customers to discuss the project before issuing an estimate.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have been in business for over 18 years working on residential projects.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We got started by working on family rental properties. A realtor friend saw the quality work we were doing and convinced us to work on her clients’ homes.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We only work with residential customers in their primary, rental and second homes. We have many returning clients.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We love all the projects we work on and so its hard to choose. Transforming a space and seeing how happy the owner is at the end is our ultimate goal. Simple transformations from just painting a room to more complex tasks of renovating an unfinished basement or a whole house reconstruction, we are fond of all of them. We undertake projects that can take one day or four months to complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always meet with your contractor to discuss the project first. Make sure your contractor listens to what you the homeowner wants for the project before the contractor begins to give their advice. Even during the first meeting, your gut can tell you if it seems like you will have a good working relationship with the contractor. JAS Park’s goal is to always try to develop a good working relationship with the client. We do not just see the client as just one job, but as a future client. Our goal is to do a great job so that the client feels good calling us back months or years later to do another project and to refer us to their family and friends.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Try to get as much details as you can from the contractor as to how they are going to go about doing your project. Understanding the process is good for both the contractor and homeowner. Most homeowner’s understanding of construction is only what they see on television. The real life work is vastly different from what the television shows project.
