What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

iam very transparent on pricing and labor,I'll show the customer the materials list and the labor all up front so that everyone is clear and on board.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

my first thing is always use drop clothes and seal everything up before I start the job and at the end of every day I clean up like I was never there that day.and i always have my contract with me the first day of work,in some cases before.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I started in boces 10 through 12th grade and been in the remodeling business ever since.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started in 10th grade boces through 12th grade,I worked for other construction companies for twenty yrs and then I went on my own,its been about 30yrs on my own as a independent contractor.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with all types of people,when yr in the business for as long as I have you pretty much seen it all.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

iam just finishing a job for the prespertarian church in Evan's mills,I built two separate rooms, one I constructed a new handicap bathroom, new plumbing and electrical,the other I gave them a new kitchenette, cabinets, countertop and sink.just on the other side of the kitchen we made that ther office.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

don't always go with the lowest bidder, make sure the contractor has all the legal paperwork, always check his references.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

are we financially prepared,are we ready when we call for estimates, do we already have a plan.
