Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
As a business owner, I do my absolute best to provide a great price right up front. Not give you a high price so I have room to negotiate downward. I try to give my best price right up front, and leave the customer to decide if that’s the right choice for them!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I always try to introduce myself, and try to understand the project my customers are looking to be completed. Once I have a picture of what is asked of me, I’ll either give a quote, or if more information is needed, will ask to come take a look in person.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I’ve trained in multiple different trades such as electrical work, construction, and handyman/maintenance work. I have also been to college for business management, and completed a trade course in HVAC.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have always worked in different trades throughout my life, gaining knowledge everywhere I went. I have always been great with my hands, and decided it was time to put everything together!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Here at M&L we have worked with many different customers! We’ve worked with everybody from homeowners, to Air BnB rental managers, to commercial companies. There’s no one we cannot work with!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Recently we helped a client build a stone veneer fireplace media wall in her home. This took us 2 days to complete everything.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
You get what you pay for! (In most instances haha)

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should decide whether or not they are fully ready to start their project. Customers then can choose which company best suites their needs, and who would do the best job for them.
