Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is tailored to each project's scope and complexity to ensure fair value and exceptional results. We offer both flat-rate packages and hourly options depending on your needs. Initial consultations are complimentary, and we’re happy to provide detailed estimates before beginning any work. Discounts may be available for bundled services or ongoing projects. No hidden fees—just honest, upfront pricing with your goals in mind.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our process is designed to be collaborative, transparent, and tailored to your needs: Initial Consultation – We start with a complimentary call or meeting to learn about your goals, vision, and space. Site Visit & Assessment – If needed, we visit the space to take measurements, photos, and get a feel for the layout and flow. Proposal & Scope – You’ll receive a customized proposal outlining the scope of work, timeline, and pricing. Design Phase – We dive into space planning, sketches, mood boards, and design concepts using tools like AutoCAD and Revit. Feedback & Revisions – You’ll have the opportunity to review and refine the designs until they align perfectly with your vision. Final Delivery – We deliver the finalized design package or continue with project coordination, depending on the service.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and Architecture with 8+ years of experience in residential and commercial construction. I’m skilled in space planning and use tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and Google/Microsoft Suite to deliver efficient, professional designs.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I’ve always been passionate about how spaces impact the way we live and feel. I started in residential construction, where I gained hands-on experience, then pursued a degree in Interior Design and Architecture to turn that passion into a career focused on purposeful, functional design.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with a variety of clients, including builders, homeowners, and contractors—each with unique needs and goals. This range of experience allows me to adapt easily and collaborate effectively on projects of all sizes.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One project I’m especially proud of is our cabinetry storefront collaboration with Russell Crafted. We worked closely to design a functional, welcoming space that showcased their craftsmanship while staying true to their brand. The project took about 5 months from concept to completion and was a great example of thoughtful collaboration and creative problem-solving.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for someone who truly listens to your needs and communicates clearly throughout the process. Make sure they have a strong portfolio, relevant experience, and a design style that aligns with your vision. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about their process, timeline, and how they handle revisions—it’s important to feel confident and comfortable with who you’re hiring.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Think about your budget, timeline, style preferences, and how you want to use the space. Having inspiration photos and a list of must-haves vs. nice-to-haves can also help guide the conversation.
