Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We price every project independently because all jobs are different. We look at every project thoroughly, take accurate measurements, pictures, etc. and propose the correct products and services for the customer needs. After a clear scope of work is established, we estimate materials, labor, equipment needed, etc, and price each job accordingly. Our pricing is extremely competitive with factory direct products and experienced and efficient labor personnel.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We meet with customers and LISTEN to their needs and desires for the remodeling project. We try to help them clarify the scope of work desired and a realistic budget for the project. We then prepare a detailed proposal based on the discussions. The proposal includes the scope of work, time range to complete the work, and price for the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

September- November 2018 our company helped numerous Hurricane Florence victims in Wilmington,NC with extensive water damage repairs and mitigation. It is very rewarding to help people with every step of the process with insurance claims after catastrophic home damages to help rebuild their homes and rebuild their lives. We made a lot of new friends in Wilmington, NC. We recently built a retail store that was a large ( $230,000) and extensive project. We completed all phases of the project from architectural design and store layout space planning ,demolition, construction of framing, sheetrock, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and all finishes, flooring, painting, wallpaper, etc. We also constructed stockroom shelving and retail store fixtures. We completed the project on schedule and on budget with a very satisfied customer. We received many compliments from the corporate headquarters and will be hired again. We have built 9 of the retail stores for the same customer over the past few years and they love our work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I strongly suggest that customers looking to hire a contractor check to make sure the company has the proper license, insurance, and experience to complete the project desired.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should think about the scope of work and price budget range. They should consult with professional contractors to get advice on what the project will entail for material choices, labor and scheduling, realistic price budgets, and any anticipated additional charges, changes, etc.
