Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are a fixed price contractor. Our final proposal is the price you pay outside of customer initiated change orders or unforeseen events such as but not limited to discovery of dry rot inside the wall.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our typical process is to meet the customer at their house for a free consolation. We then provide a rough budget for the project that we either based on similar recently completed or ongoing project or for smaller jobs we provide a fixed price right away (such as backsplash tile replacement, or countertop replacement)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Years of experience and manufacturer training classes on materials we use. All of our electricians, plumbers and mechanical contractors are licensed to do what they do. We are licensed, bonded and insured and so are all of our subcontractors.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with all types of customers, from all walks of life anywhere in greater Seattle area and beyond.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We built a 750 SF addition UNDER the house by opening up a wall and getting our excavator under the house to move the dirt around to make room for a whole new level. Overall the projects took 6 months to complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Ask for references and look at customer reviews. When looking at reviews especially on google also look into the person leaving the review to make sure that the reviews are real.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
There are a lot of contractors out there that will say you don't need a permit. I recommend calling the city and asking them if you do. If you know you do and the contractor tells you "you do not " there might be a problem. Remember all structural work, almost all electrical and plumbing require specialty contractors and permits.
