Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing varies on the project, the price and quality of material.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First of all, meet the customer, and try to get more involved in their plans and wishes in their project. Discuss the project to find the best way to make it work for the both of us.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Education is my experience, which I have for over 20 years in construction.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
At the beginning I worked for a framing company for a couple of years, then I did roofing for a few years, same goes with siding and flooring, etc. At some point I understood that I know a lot about construction, so I decided to open my own company. We started with a company called Unique Skagit Interiors, in which we only did interior remodeling, then we decided to move up to interior and exterior, so now we have L n'D Northwest Construction.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We've worked with a variety of customers who need their work to be done. Individuals and builder companies.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
The last project we did was a full interior renovation, such as bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, stairs, etc. It took us about two months to get it all done.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I think the best advice is to look for a company that you can trust and rely on. And of course, that they know what they are doing. You look for that through references, reviews, etc.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Questions of project plan, budget, and time range.
