Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We have very competitive pricing and very reasonable for the high quality of service that we offer. We take pride in our craftsmanship with every detail.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We like to meet with you on site to look at the project area to discuss options and ensure that we can provide an accurate estimate for the scope of work that you desire. We will then work up a quote, send it to you and schedule a call to discuss any questions that you may have.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Each member of our team has extensive experience in remodeling, construction, business administration, accounting and customer service. We also pride ourselves in training the upcoming younger generation that has the desire to learn these skills. In doing this we hire one apprentice to work with 3-4 experienced team members to provide training and instill confidence.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
This is a very good question and would be different for each of our team. Feel free to ask when you meet our team and they will be happy to share their unique story with you.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We work with a wide variety of clientele, from homeowners to property managers, businesses and also companies that provide care services. We are also an approved DSHS provider for environmental adaptations.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We were recently contacted because a the sewer line had a blockage and flooded the entire lower floor with sewage. As this was a very urgent matter, we got our abatement team out right away to pull up the flooring, cabinets, remove the bottom 12 inches of sheetrock throughout and sanitize and seal everything. Once the sewer and drain company repaired the line and cleared the blockage we got our team out to the site and completely restored this 1100 sq ft part of the home in 10 days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
1) Ensure they can handle the type of work that you need and completely understand your needs and desires. 2) Are they responsive to you when you contact them? Do they return calls and emails within a reasonable time? Those that are a 'One-man show' can find this very difficult. 3) In this industry, if a contractor is not busy, there is typically a reason. You want a contractor who is in demand. Don't be in a hurry and take the first guy that is available. It may cause you headaches in the long run. 4) Are they credible, can provide references and examples of their work? 5) Be very cautious about anyone who requires all decision makers to be present at the time of an appointment. (They're going to high-pressure you into signing a contract.) Also, be wary of anyone that requires large deposits too far in advance of scheduling your project. (We only ask for a deposit 5 days prior to your scheduled start date.) 6) We have been called too many times to come fix or finish work that was started by another contractor that either didn't do the job right and/or even disappeared before the work was completed. Be confident that you hire someone that will do the job right and exceed your expectations.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
If doing a remodel project, put together a Pinterest board of what you like. This gives us a good idea of your taste and style. Go shopping and look for ideas, take pictures. The more prepared you are, the better we can serve you.
