Because of our (30) years of experience in the design and construction industry, we design plans with our creative insight, but also with scrutiny to designs that will incorporate the most cost-effective, timely and quality project, from our building experience. We use our background of multiple building type experience (Homes, Offices, hotels, Multi-Family, ADU Structures, etc.), to intuitively incorporate useful characteristics into our plans, for additional client benefits. Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is dependent upon the service(s) requested. Please contact us regarding your project and its scope of work, for discussion.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
About a (30) minute initial complimentary phone call consultation with the Owner regarding their overall scope of work requests. Depending on the project, general input for design, engineering, costs and schedule will be discussed. Service options available for the project presented, if appropriate, to the Owner for their consideration.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
As a licensed Architect, I was required to obtain (8) years of tenure from Architecture school and working full time for licensed Architects, before being allowed to sit for my (42) hour State Board exam. Also, every year I attend seminars for (18) hours or more, to become more knowledgeable of the many different aspects of residential building in categories of: energy; lighting; structure; materials; codes; handicap; roofing; plumbing; electrical; mechanical; etc. As a General Contractor, I was required to work (4) years full time for a general contractor, before sitting for my State Board exam and I now have over (25) years experience building.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I believe I was destined for this business since I was very young; designing and building small structures in our backyard; progressing thru high school with basic three dimensional drafting classes; then graduating the #2 school of architecture in the U.S. with B.S. in Architecture and minor in Construction Engineering.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Residential home and land Owners and commercial tenants and land owners

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Completed 3,500 sq. ft. custom home major remodel in Erie in 4 1/2 months. Completed Design-Build services for a new ground up five bedroom/six bath home, incorporating Feng Shui design throughout the entire home. Completed plans for a 6,000 sq. ft. tenant improvement project. Currently 2024 completed architecture and engineering plans in (60) days for a 1,000 sq. ft. Second Story Addition in Westminster.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The more decades of experience, the better design you will receive that responds to your needs; the more complete and accurate the plans will be; and if the Architect is also an experienced builder, a huge benefit to the Owner will be a project that can be constructed in a timely, cost-effective and quality manner.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
