Introduction

I have recently moved to Orlando from NYC where I went to school for design and practiced commercial and residential interior design for the duration of 5 years. I am extremely passionate about interiors and creating spaces that are functional and beautiful. I am currently in the processes of renovating my own home here in Orlando which is giving me the best hands on experience!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My design services are billed hourly at $50-$75/hour, with transparent weekly time logs so you stay in control of your budget. I offer flexibility based on project scope and can create flat-rate proposals for specific deliverables. I also provide estimates before starting and never bill for unnecessary time. Payment processing fees may apply for credit card or ACH transactions.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I start with a discovery call or consultation to understand your needs, timeline, and vision. From there, I provide a customized design plan with an estimate of hours. We collaborate closely—whether remotely or in person—through style exploration, layout planning, sourcing, and final styling. I keep communication clear and consistent every step of the way.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have over 6 years of experience working in architecture and interior design studios and am currently pursuing NCIDQ certification (exam planned for October 2025). My background includes residential, commercial, and hospitality design projects, with training in spatial planning, furniture selection, and material sourcing with an eco-friendly approach.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I’ve always had a passion for creating spaces that feel intentional, functional, and inspiring. I started working in architecture firms after design school in New York City, and over time transitioned into offering freelance interior design to work more closely with individuals and small businesses on personal, meaningful transformations.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with homeowners, renters, small business owners, and commercial clients across residential, retail, and hospitality spaces. My clients range from first-time renovators to creatives who need help refining their vision or styling a space for daily living or professional use.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One project I’m especially proud of was the redesign of a luxury apartment building's amenity space in the heart of Orlando, Florida. The goal was to modernize the environment while weaving in the property's branding colors in a way that still felt cohesive, warm, and inviting. The project began with a one-month design concept and sourcing phase, followed by approximately two months of renovation and installation. The scope included demolishing non-structural walls to open up the space, designing custom kitchen and bar cabinetry, selecting new flooring and lighting layouts, and full furniture sourcing and space planning. What made this project particularly unique was balancing a bold brand palette with a contemporary-modern aesthetic to achieve a polished, livable feel. I served as lead designer and project manager, overseeing design communication with all disciplines and ensuring everything aligned with the client’s vision and brand standards. The result was an elegant, high-impact transformation that elevated the space and reinforced the property's identity.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Find a designer who listens deeply and makes the process collaborative. Great design isn’t just about how a space looks — it’s about how it feels and functions for your daily life. Be open about your budget and timeline so your designer can help you make the most of every decision.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What is the goal or mood you want for the space? Are there any existing pieces you want to keep? What’s your ideal timeline? What budget range are you comfortable with for furnishings or upgrades? Do you want hands-on collaboration or prefer a more hands-off process?
