As master craftsmen, we specialize in installation of customized windows, doors, trim and molding. We also specialize in interior and exterior painting, for both residential and commercial properties. No job is too large or too small. We approach each project with the utmost care and attention to detail and understand that each customer is unique deserving quality, professional service. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our prices are competitive, but lower than most in this field of general carpentry. You will not beat our prices, and we guarantee all of our work.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When working with new clients we take the time to thoroughly explain each phase of the project. We review the contract details and even fine print to leave no room for misunderstanding and confusion. Our aim is to educate the client as best as possible with the details of the project and how we will complete it as timely as possible. This process is essential in establishing good customer relations and a working partnership.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All of our carpenters have years of hands on training and personal working experience in wood work. Many have trained and worked for over 30 years in this industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We started out as apprentices over 30 years ago and today we are master craftsmen specializing in customized installation and repair of windows, doors, trim, moulding, and all other areas of general carpentry.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Our customers are both residential and commercial in the city of Chicago and neighboring suburbs, townships and communities.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently completed a window repair project in Naperville. Wooden window casing was rotted and some windows had broken seals and visible condensation. We saved the customer thousands of dollars by repairing the windows rotting casing and trim. We also replaced their windows with broken seals with EXCELLENT custom windows with lifetime warranty. The customer was so excited and very proud of our craftsmanship. When they need our services again, they stated that they would definitely hire SBA again. Making our clients home beautiful is our goal, but making them happy is our number one priority!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Often the customers look for the contractor with the lowest prices. This is not always the best course as quality, experience and knowledge are better determining factors.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should understand the full scope of their project before hiring a professional contractor. How much labor and materials are they willing to invest to satisfactorily complete the project? There is a vast difference between a general contractor and a handy man project both in time, experience and cost. Our professionals are specialists. Prior to starting any job we will take the time to explain each phase of the project to ensure the customer has a full understanding of what is involved.
