Introduction

I started my business in 1999 mainly focusing on hard surface flooring. From there I shifted into commercial building across the US in the action sports industry and salons. Here in Montana I have focused on residential new building and remodels. I have a great book of subcontractors and would be happy to be a part of your project.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The pricing that I have depends on what kind of a project the customer is looking to complete. The first one would be a time and material type project. And the second one would be a bid type project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

A typical process working with a new customer would be how they want the project finished. Going over budgets. What their ideal timeline is from start to completion. And keeping an open line of communication with details and changes.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My educational background is in economics. I enjoy keeping things efficient. The training that relates to my work would best be described as working side-by-side with trained professionals and staying current on new manufacturing products and installation techniques. I am a hands-on contractor.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began working construction, installing hardwood floor, tile and laminate.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with customers on the commercial building side of construction and also residential. The ones that I’m working with now are strictly residential. The last projects I’ve had were for customers with second homes and the current ones are with repeat customers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had two recent projects in Paradise Valley, Livingston. The bigger one was a full custom remodel with a new guest house build. The second one was a remodel with and an addition. The photos are on my profile.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The advice that I would give would be to take your time. And also make sure your budget fits the project.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I believe there are two good questions that customers should think through before starting to look for a professional for their project. The first one would be budget. And their second one would be timeline.
