Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our value WILL exceed expectations! Our craftsmanship is big, not our prices. Call us today and secure your appointment! NewImage Renovations is proud to offer our 10 day price commitment. Rest assured the estimate we create and review with you is guaranteed (materials excluded) for 10 calendar days!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Customer care is and ALWAYS will be the heart and soul of our company. Contact us whichever way is most comfortable for you. Reach out to us on Facebook, Thumbtack, Facebook Messenger, Email, or Phone. We're happy to discuss your project and respond to any questions you might have. Once we have an idea of what your project entails, we'll schedule an appointment to meet in person. We like to get to know you and your space. During this time, we'll also review project details, offer suggestions, set expectations and time lines, and—most importantly—gather any additional information needed to create a fair estimate for you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
• Trained by master carpenter and specialize in flooring and trim • Expert in painting, texture, and finish work • Masterful in framing and laying pipe • Skilled in operating cranes, forklifts, and large equipment • Good working knowledge of welding • Coursework and certifications for use of drilling equipment and explosives • 10+ years managing teams for time-sensitive jobs as an off-shore supervisor

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Long story short, I have always been pretty handy when it came to fixing things--even as a young child. I'm from New Orleans, and when Hurricane Katrina hit, my house was demolished without flood insurance. I quickly took on the challenge and rebuilt my house along with many others in my neighborhood. At that time, I hadn't thought of renovating homes as a career, but in 2014 I wanted change in my life, and I asked God for help. He has given me this as my career, and what a gift! I am overjoyed to be able to do this everyday! With every opportunity, I look forward to giving each house a New Image with renewed purpose.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We service people in residential areas with interior and exterior remodeling and repair needs, including realtors. We've helped fix previous mistakes, added onto homes, and completely renovated entire houses for those who chose to remodel instead of buy.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently installed 600 square feet of vinyl flooring and renovated a hallway and bathroom. The job took about 1.5 weeks, and we worked for an awesome couple. We just hit it off and all got along really well. They so kind and grateful and a delight to work with, which made that job such a blessing!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Have a conversation and meet face to face. Talk about expectations, be honest about any reservations you might have about the job, then go with who you feel comfortable with. If there is any doubt, don't!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1. Do you like doing your job and why? Because man who loves his job puts his heart into it! 2. Who will be our point of contact? It's important to know who your go-to person is to take care of your needs along the way. 3. How are materials and payments handled? Companies operate differently. Understanding expectations will help complete your job on schedule. 4. If we are not happy with the way the project is going, can it be fixed? A man of integrity will do what it takes to make it right. These questions will help determine if your needs and home will be well cared for.
