What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Have a general idea of work to be performed, get at least 3 bids from contractors that are Licensed Bonded and Insured, References are important!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I think the customer should have a knowledge of the cost of their project. Also do a bit of homework on what the job entails. Develop a good judgement of character.
