I have been playing Santa here in the Northwest Suburbs for over 34 years with 5 star reviews here on Thumbtack. I am available for appointments on Christmas Morning from 7:00 am till 12:00 noon I also am available on Christmas Eve morning from 10:00 am till 6;00 pm.I am booked up after 6:00 pm on Christmas Eve if interested I have other time and dates available.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Before Christmas $50/ 30 minutes $100/1 hour ** Christmas Eve $110/ 30 minutes ** Christmas Day $140/ 30 minutes will take appts. from 6am-1pm ** **Willing to negotiate depending on travel distance, type of party, amount of people and time.**

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Drive kids to school everyday. Make sure my reindeer are kept happy. :)

How did you get started doing this type of work?

LOL. I have delivered pizza's part time for many years. At Christmas time I use to wear a Santa hat while delivering pizza's. A repeat customer said to me, "you should play Santa because your personality fits him." And that's how I got started.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Holiday business parties, Grand opening business parties, family Christmas Eve and Christmas Day parties. I sing, have people take pictures with Santa, will bring in gifts if left outside in my Red Santa bag, and I pass out my own candy canes.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Actually, it would be yesterday (most recent). I went to surprise a family at their Christmas Party last night. While there, a woman approached me and asked me to make an announcement to the entire family that she was pregnant. It made me feel good to see all their faces when I told them. I'm going to be a Grandpa for the first time in about 3 weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I could grow a real beard (as I am grey now) but I believe it's not just the look of the Santa but the entire "get up" from the time I walk in the door until I leave. So keep those things in mind when picking a Santa.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I take it very seriously. I love making people's Christmas's special. I'm willing to work with people to make their Christmas special.
