Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
All services—dumpster rentals and junk removal—are paid in full before delivery or work begins. For dumpsters, one dump is included; if the load is overweight, we’ll charge the card on file based on the transfer station’s actual cost. We may not always be the cheapest, but we’re fully insured, ethically dispose of all materials, and treat customers like family. We can haul or dispose of most things as long as we know ahead of time. Hazardous materials, paint, tires, appliances with refrigerant, and certain electronics require prior approval—just let us know what you’re tossing, and we’ll help make it hassle-free. Military and first responders always receive 10% off as our thanks.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
If you’re renting a dumpster, we’ll help you pick the right size and schedule a drop-off that fits your timeline. We send reminders before delivery and pickup so you’re never guessing. If you're scheduling junk removal, we will request photos or a brief description, provide you with an estimate, and dispatch a crew to handle the heavy lifting and disposal. Either way, we keep it quick, clear, and professional.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our background is in logistics, construction, and municipal operations—we’ve handled jobsite cleanups, contractor haul-offs, and residential removals since 2008. We’re fully insured, safety-minded, and trained in proper disposal practices. Whether we’re loading your junk or dropping a dumpster, we treat your property with care.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
People frequently inquired about our ability to "get rid of the junk" while we operated a construction and gutter company. That turned into hauling, which turned into dumpster rentals—and then junk removal as a full-time service. The name “Boss Lady Boxes” came from customers jokingly saying, “Let me check with the boss lady,” and it stuck because our family is full of boss ladies.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
For dumpsters, we serve homeowners, remodelers, roofers, property managers, and contractors. For junk removal, we help people cleaning out garages, moving, downsizing, or just needing extra hands. We've worked with everyone from busy families to real estate teams getting homes market-ready.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
During the Fourth of July weekend, we helped two families last minute who needed dumpsters and junk removal fast. One was a same-day drop-off, and the other involved us assisting on-site to fill a dumpster with over two tons of backyard debris in a single day. The jobs weren’t scheduled—but we made it happen. That’s the kind of responsive, real-world help we believe in.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
When arranging for junk removal or a dumpster, please inquire about what is included in the price. Some companies add surprise fees for fuel, dump weight, or time. Also ask about insurance—anyone hauling or loading on your property should be covered. Lastly, pay attention to how they communicate—it says a lot about how your job will go.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
For junk removal: What exactly needs to go? Is it inside or curbside? Are there any stairs or heavy items? For dumpster rentals, what size do you require? What material are you loading? Do you have space for drop-off? Knowing these details ahead of time helps us give you the best price and the right service without delays.
