Introduction

I have been a repair plumber since 2013. My work will be done correctly, up to code, and it will be long lasting. My work areas are kept as clean as possible, and if any mess is made it will be cleaned to the best of my ability after the repairs are finished. Estimated costs will be given up front for every job, and updates as the work progresses will be given if necessary.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Estimated repair costs are given up front on all jobs if possible. I charge a $50 diagnostic fee to come out and assess all jobs in order to give the most accurate estimates. If you approve the repair and cost, the diagnostic fee will NOT be applied. The diagnostic fee will only be charged if the estimate is declined. Payments for invoices are due at the time of service.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I will ask for information about the job and when you will be available for the job to be done. I will come out and assess the job and give an estimate. If the estimate is approved I will very likely complete the job at that time. Once the job is complete I will create an invoice and collect for the agreed price, then send an invoice to your email.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am a licensed plumbing contractor and have been a plumber since 2013. The requirements for a contractor are one year of work as a journeyman and passing two tests. The requirements for a journeyman are three years of work as an apprentice and passing one test. There are no requirements for an apprentice. Continuing education is also required for all pluming journeyman and contractors.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My father recommended I get into HVAC for job stability. I did, and during the first winter the company moved me over to plumbing. I have been a plumber since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with all kinds of customers over my years as a plumber.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would recommend hiring a plumber with a plumbing contractor license as they will be the most experienced and knowledgeable. Plumbers with a journeyman license are also a good option. However, I would advise against hiring an apprentice as there are no requirements to become an apprentice.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
We just need to know what you need done and where to do it.
