Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We specialize in yard clean up and debris removal in the warmer season, and in snow removal in the colder season. Although we do plenty of residential property, we especially love to work with property management companies. Our process for yard clean up includes giving an on-site estimate (property owner need not be present), confirming with our client, scheduling your service date, followed by completion of the job in a timely and efficient manner. Although we do our best to adhere to our schedule, we do ask that our clients respect the weather contingency as weather can be unpredictable and may cause slight delays. As far as snow removal, we deal primarily with professional contract companies.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a degree in landscape horticulture from Colorado State University.

What types of customers have you worked with?

As a landscape company, we have done it all. From residential complete landscape installs, to large commercial projects including malls and hotels, to landscape maintenance such as mow and go, Colorado Green has served every type of client. Our focus now is on the client that needs residential yard clean up and debris removal, and less on complete landscape installation.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Most of our jobs are completed within one day.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I would advise prospective clients to think about what their exact needs and goals are for the job and to consider both the size of the property and the extent of work that needs to be done. The bigger the property, the more it will cost to clean it up. Also large debris removal will require an extra fee for trailer take away and dumping cost. We are happy to bag up all debris at a small extra fee as well. Finally, I would advise customers to hire only licensed and insured businesses in order to ensure all protection of property, as well as peace of mind in knowing that a professional company is taking care of all of your needs.
