What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

There are many factors and variables to price every job or service, but for some i do have a standard labor and materials pricing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I always ask first for a customer's needs and requests. then, i suggest the best options available for them, then i let them decide what they want me to do.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

The best training i have will be the everyday hands-on experience I've gathered thru the 20 years I've been doing this. As far as Education goes I have taken several Classes and Seminars in Irrigation Design,Installation,Troubleshooting,Water and Drainage management, and Outdoor Landscape Lighting thru "Site One Universities" (previously "John Deere Landscapes Universities"). which is a national landscape supply chain that provide classes thru out the year and a yearly 3-day seminar for the landscape and irrigation industry professionals.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been working in the full service landscaping business from the year 2000-2016 until I decided to start my own business with all the experience learned from work and courses in landscape installation,irrigation,drainage and outdoor lighting.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All kinds, from easy going to very picky. the main goal is to do everything the way customers expect. Customer satisfaction!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

To do research first and learn as much as he can about what his service needs and to get several quotes and analize his best option (not the cheapest or most expensive). also to ask as many questions to make sure that person has knowledge and answers and explains in a way that he can understand.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It depends on what project it is, but i think the main questions will be " How that project will be completed and Why that certain way"
