Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We charge a $115 service call fee per appointment, which includes a full system inspection and diagnosis. For customers enrolled in any of our annual maintenance plans, we offer a 10% discount on all repairs and system upgrades throughout the plan year. Our repair pricing is flat-rate and includes both parts and labor, so there are no surprise costs — just clear, upfront pricing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our process starts with a comprehensive inspection of your sprinkler system. During the visit, we’ll identify any urgent repairs, design flaws, or opportunities to improve efficiency. We’ll walk you through our findings, provide a clear proposal with options, and in most cases, complete the high-priority repairs on the spot. For larger upgrades or redesigns, we’ll schedule a follow-up appointment at your convenience.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our irrigation technicians receive comprehensive training through Conserva Irrigation’s national Learning Management System, covering best practices in water efficiency, system design, and troubleshooting. In addition, we participate in ongoing education through the Irrigation Association. All of our technicians are either Certified Irrigation Technicians (CIT) or actively working toward certification to ensure the highest standards of service and expertise.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My wife and I started this business with a shared goal: to create a company that makes a positive impact in our community. Water conservation is at the heart of what we do — helping homeowners save water and lower their utility bills through smart, efficient irrigation solutions. It’s meaningful work that combines environmental responsibility with real savings for our customers.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We’ve worked with a wide variety of customers throughout the Omaha metro area — from homeowners looking to improve their sprinkler system’s efficiency to HOAs, property managers, and business owners who rely on consistent, professional irrigation services. Whether it’s a small residential repair or a large-scale commercial upgrade, we tailor our solutions to each customer’s needs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently completed an adaptive drainage project for a homeowner who wanted to eliminate unsightly downspout extenders. We installed a buried drainage system that redirected water to a pop-up emitter near the curb, significantly improving both the function and curb appeal of the property. The entire project was completed in just one day, and it was incredibly rewarding to see the homeowner’s excitement over the clean, finished look and improved drainage.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
When hiring an irrigation provider in the Omaha area, look for a company that prioritizes both water efficiency and system performance. Make sure they are trained or certified through reputable organizations like the Irrigation Association. Ask if they perform a full system inspection, provide clear, upfront pricing, and offer ongoing maintenance plans. It’s also a good idea to choose a company that understands our local soil, weather, and seasonal watering needs — all of which impact system design and long-term performance.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before speaking with an irrigation professional, customers should consider a few key questions: 1) What specific issues are you experiencing? (e.g., dry spots, overspray, system not starting, drainage concerns) 2) Are you looking to repair, upgrade, or install a new system? 3) What are your priorities? (e.g., water conservation, system performance, curb appeal, automation) 4) Do you have a budget range or timeline in mind? 5) Have you noticed any patterns related to water use or runoff problems? Having a clear understanding of your goals and challenges will help the contractor recommend the best solution — whether it's a repair, redesign, or efficiency upgrade.
