What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Heroes tries to make their pricing as competetive as possible, while still making enough to be comfortable with our prices. The teams at Heroes are made up of trained professionals who care for the work and take the time to do it right, rather than just getting the job done.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Working with new customers is a great benefit for Heroes because it allows us to share our skills and knowledge with new individuals. Most customers reach out over the phone through our call center or online using our Lawn Legend feature. Once they are a customer, they will have their own portal where they can check balances and upcoming services they have booked. Heroes is here for the consumers and guarantees to fix any unsolved lawn care issues.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Taylor Olberding, founder of Heroes Lawn Care, has a degree in Turf Management. This spiked an interest in creating a lawn care brand that was for the people. He wanted a company that is honest and straightforward with the customer, only giving them what they need.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

What started out as two great minds, and a 2003 Dodge Dakota, quickly turned into what is now Heroes Lawn Care. Mike Marlow’s business expertise, and Taylor Olberding’s degree in Turf Management and hands-on experience, combined with a dual passion for doing what’s right proved to be a recipe for success!

What types of customers have you worked with?

Heroes Lawn Care has worked with a wide range of customers who all have a common goal, a beautiful lawn. People call Heroes because they heard of our great customer service, or saw a healthy looking lawn down the road that we had been working on, or even saw that we are an Eco-conscious Lawn Care brand and agree with our mission and vision.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Our advice to new customers is to check out all their options and see how other people enjoyed their services. Looking at Google and Yelp can help influence a decision quickly based on reviews and testimonials from previous customers.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should think through exactly what they are looking for and a price point they are willing to spend. Heroes has different built out packages that work with multiple prices ranges and different lawns. Having a lawn is a big commitment, which takes time to maintain and keep healthy. Try to find the right brand for you and your property.
